Stellar Star (“we”, “us” or “our”) is a TikTok LIVE agency for creators in the Middle East and North Africa. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website or contact us, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.
Information we collect
Our website has no forms and does not ask you to enter personal details. We collect information in the following ways:
- When you contact us on WhatsApp. The message our website prefills ends with a short reference showing which page, agent link, campaign or website you came from. From your first message, we record your WhatsApp name, the country of your number’s calling code and that reference (or the ad you came from). As we handle your inquiry, we also record the TikTok username you give us, who is following up with you (a team member, one of our agents or an automated assistant), the progress of your application and, if it does not go ahead, the reason (for example, that you are under 18). Our own records do not include your phone number itself or the content of your messages. If you came from one of our ads, we may also keep a hashed form of your WhatsApp number, as described under “Advertising and measurement”.
- When you join us. If you join as a creator, we also keep your monthly LIVE results, such as diamonds earned and LIVE days and hours, to support your growth and calculate commissions.
- When you browse our website. We measure visits with our own analytics, which does not use cookies. For each page view, join-button tap and WhatsApp tap, we record only the page and its language, the type of device (phone or computer), the country, and the agent link, ad or website you came from, and we keep only daily totals. We do not store IP addresses, names, phone numbers or anything else that identifies you. Click records from our ad links are described under “Advertising and measurement”.
How we use your information
- To reply to your messages and handle your application.
- To check that you meet our requirements, including being 18 or older.
- To understand how you found us and credit the right agent or campaign.
- To support creators who join us and manage our work with agents.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising.
- To avoid duplicate records, prevent misuse and comply with the law.
Advertising and measurement
When you open WhatsApp from one of our ad links, the reference in the prefilled message may include a one-time click code. We keep a record of that click (the click code, the ad and ad link you came from, the ad’s click ID and the time of the click) for 8 days and then delete it promptly. If your conversation is matched to the click, we keep which ad you came from with your application record.
If you came from one of our ads, we may keep a hashed form of your WhatsApp number and share with our group’s in-house advertising team only the ad’s click ID and click time, the ad link’s code, your country, an internal number and that hashed number. We never share your phone number itself, your name or your messages. The advertising team informs the advertising platform that showed you the ad when you first contact us (once we have confirmed that you are 18 or older), when you pass our checks and when you join us, so that we can measure which ads bring genuine creators. The advertising platform may match the hashed number against its own records.
Some of our ads open WhatsApp directly and do not use click codes. If you contact us through one of them, the sharing described above may also apply.
Cookies and browser storage
Our website does not use cookies for visitors. Your browser may store your language choice, the agent reference from a link you opened (for up to 30 days) and, until you close the tab, the page and link that started your visit. You can clear this information at any time in your browser settings. A strictly necessary sign-in cookie is used only when our team members and agents sign in to our internal system.
Your choices
- You can delete the click code from the prefilled message before sending it. We will then share none of your information with our advertising team.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we do not count your visit, our ad links add no click code and no click record is kept, so we share none of your information with our advertising team.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including supporting creators who join us and meeting legal requirements. Click records from our ad links are kept for 8 days and then deleted promptly, and website statistics are kept only as daily totals that do not identify you.
Minors
Our services are only for people aged 18 or older. If you are under 18, we keep only the reference, the date, the reason and an internal number (not your phone number) so we don’t record you twice.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including access controls that limit each team member and agent to the information they need. However, no method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain uses of it, or to withdraw your consent. To make a request, contact us on WhatsApp. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
